Pink® Superbatts® ceiling insulation is specifically designed to meet the H1 Building Code changes and are at least 25mm wider than standard Pink® Batts® insulation to bridge thermal gaps and maximise thermal performance.
Available in R4.5, R5.0, R6.0, R7.0 and skillion roof: R1.0, R5.0, R6.0 and R7.4.
Designed to thermally insulate ceilings in new homes to meet the 5th edition of H1/AS1 and H1/VM1 and be retrofitted into existing homes, our Pink® Superbatts® range fits easily into standard ceiling constructions or be easily cut to fit in non-standard constructions. Meet the requirements of the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) for different designs and environments.
Features and Benefits
R-values up to 7.4 are designed to assist in keeping homes above 18°C as per the World Health Organisation’s recommendation for a healthy and comfortable home and will also help to reduce the energy needed to heat homes by up to 40 per cent, leading to positive health impacts and increased energy savings for New Zealanders.
Pink® Superbatts® are manufactured in New Zealand and designed for New Zealand conditions. They have received BRANZ appraisal, Environmental Choice and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). Our Pink® Superbatts® are easy to install – lightweight, flexible and the simple design makes the installation fast and easy. Internationally certified for Indoor Air Quality – gives assurance that products meet strict chemical emissions limits and non-combustible – will not easily burn in the event of a fire.
